With our luck, this is how I imagine the scenario playing out. It will turn out that a recount of King County without the uncounted ballots will yield enough votes to turn the election for Gregoire. But a WSSC decision will declare that the King County ballots need to be counted and by some stroke of bad luck they'll turn the election back to Rossi.

Of course it that's how it turns out, that would be okay because if Rossi really is the winner after all the votes are counted so be it. But wouldn't it just be our luck, grumble grumble grumble.

They really do need to count those absentee ballots that were wrongly thrown out. Imagine if your name was on that list. I'd be furious if they didn't count my vote, especially in this close election where every vote truly counts.

Ruling Boosts Democrat in Washington Governor's Race

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) -- Washington state's Supreme Court ruled Wednesday that hundreds of belatedly discovered ballots from Seattle's King County should be counted in the extremely close governor's race -- potentially enough to tip the balance in favor of Democrat Christine Gregoire.

Thanks Esther.

This is exciting news. The state GOP must be freakin'! I think the Washington state Democratic party should be held up as a shining example to the national party on how to fight!

Thank you guys.
